ENRICH YOUR ACTING CAREER WITH CAPTIVATING FILM-ACTING
If you want to master playing in front of a camera and create strong characters and truthful emotional experiences from a very robust foundation, our 1-year certified master in film acting is for you.
The education is for you who know and have worked with in Balcazar Teknik® in advance and will perfect your film acting work to a very high level. You will learn to create strong performances in front of a camera that goes deeper than storytelling and your own color palette.
Our certified master in film acting includes training, technical immersion, coaching, blocking and flow work as well as artistic entrepreneurship.
Throughout the training, you get lots of practical exercises and tasks that constantly ensure that you are challenged and that are adapted to your personal development.
Teaching takes place once a week in the period 9.00-14.00
Everyone who completes the 4 modules of the program and passes the certification exam with an external examiner becomes a ‘Certified Master in Film Acting – Balcazar Teknik®’.
To ensure quality in teaching, mentoring and coaching, there are only 4 places. ‘Certified Master in Film Acting – Balcazar Teknik®.’
HOW IS THE MASTER IN FILM ACTING – BALCAZAR TEKNIK® BUILT UP?
Master in Film Acting – Balcazar Teknik® consists of 4 modules. In each module, we work with emphasis on a specific acting area:
MODUL 1 – INSTRUMENT

ModulE 1:
Instrumental work (SEP-NOV)
Overall goal:
The actors work intensively with blockages and flow. Their screen presence is optimized. The basic pillar and emotional landscape of the actors is explored and expanded.
Training – THE EMOTIONAL BODY
The emotional body is trained intensively. Including emotional alchemy, instrumental opening, instrumental contact and emotional communication
Mentoring and Coaching – INSTRUMENT – individually. 3 x 1 hour

ModulE 2:
Character-work (DECEMBER – FEBRUARY)
Overall goal:
The actors work in depth to build difficult, three-dimensional characters that resonate with the human psyche and who function naturalistically in front of the camera despite physical or psychological complexity.
We expand the actors’ color palettes with difficult, challenging, limitless characters that are outside the actors’ comfort zone.
Training – TRANSFORMATION
There is intensive training with transformation, change of consciousness and tapping of the characters’ emotional resources rather than their own.
Mentoring and Coaching – STORY – individually. 3 x 1 hour
We work with the actors’ mindset with a focus on expanding awareness of one’s own talents, resources, career and artistic work.
ModulE 3:
text work (MARCH-MAY)
Overall goal:
The actors make both instrument and character available for the text. Texts are processed dramatically based on the character’s emotional landscape. We focus on emotional communication, direction, travel and dramaturgy.
Training – TEXT AND STORY
There is intensive training with dramaturgical resonance, recipient-based communication and the use of emotional narratives.
Mentoring and Coaching – STORY – individually. 3 x 1 hour
We work with the actors’ mindset with a focus on expanding awareness of our own talents, resources, career and artistic work.
MODULE 4:
FINAL EXAMINATION (JUNE)
INTENSIVE TRAINING & PROJECT DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP – In collaboration with Rum Malmros
Overall goal:
The actors develop their own film project in 10 minutes, based on future career wishes and artistic work.
The actors are given creative tools by screenwriter Rum Malmros in a 2-day intensive, creative workshop. The goal is to develop a project that reflects the actors’ artistic voice and is ready to be put into production at the end of the course.
Training – BALCAZAR TEKNIK®.
We train intensively with all modules of BALCAZAR TECHNIQUE, including with concrete exercises and cases aimed at a professional acting life.
Mentoring and Coaching – ENTREPRENEURSHIP – individually. 2 x 45 min.
We work with the actors’ mindset with a focus on their own resources, career, artistic work and the personal voice.
OPTIONAL (JULY-AUGUST) – in collaboration with Potenta
Production of own work.
Note: The price will depend on the length, budget and services of the film.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENT
- You have taken a CERTIFICATE IN BALCAZAR TECHNIQUE
- You can participate in at least 80% of the teaching.
- You are passionate about going into detail with the whole process – all year round, as registration is binding for the entire education.
